Anderson, Grabowski to be featured alumni this week

Former players at Packers Pro Shop Saturday, Tundra Tailgate Zone and Legends Club Sunday

The Green Bay Packers are welcoming back featured alumni Donny Anderson and Jim Grabowski for the Packers-Eagles game on Sunday, Nov. 16. Leading up to the game, the alumni will be signing autographs and visiting with fans in the Packers Pro Shop on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

The Tundra Tailgate Zone will also feature Grabowski on gameday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m., where he will be visiting with fans and signing autographs. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at www.packers.com/gameday/tundra-tailgate-zone.html.

Also on Sunday, Anderson will be visiting with fans and signing autographs during that same time in the Legends Club on the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the ‘Alumni Meet and Greet.’

A first-round draft pick for the Packers in 1965, Donny Anderson spent six seasons with the team as a running back and punter and was a member of the Super Bowl I and Super Bowl II championship teams. He led the team in touchdowns during three of his seasons, and as a punter, he averaged nearly 40 yards on 315 career punts. Throughout his career in Green Bay, he recorded nearly 5,000 yards from scrimmage, scored 31 touchdowns and caught over 200 passes. He was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 1983.

A first-round draft pick for the Packers, Jim Grabowski was the ninth player selected overall in the 1966 draft. A running back, Grabowski spent five seasons with the Packers (1966-70), and led the team in rushing in 1967 with 466 yards. His 32 rushing attempts against Chicago, Sept. 24, 1967, is tied for the third most in a single game in club history. Grabowski rushed for 1,582 career yards and also was a member of the Super Bowl I and Super Bowl II championship teams.

Both former Packers players will be introduced on Lambeau Field during pregame festivities.
