The NFL announced today that quarterback MATT FLYNN of the Green Bay Packers and running back RAY RICE of the Baltimore Ravens are the Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week for games played on January 1.

In his first start of the season, Flynn converted 31 of 44 pass attempts for 480 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in the Packers' 45-41 win over the Detroit Lions. His passing yardage and touchdown totals are single-game franchise records.
