The Green Bay Packers are welcoming back featured alumni Mark Murphy and Greg Koch for the Packers-Vikings game on Thursday, Oct. 2. Leading up to the game, the alumni will be signing autographs and visiting with fans in the Packers Pro Shop on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

The Tundra Tailgate Zone will also feature Murphy on gameday from 6 to 7 p.m., where he will be visiting with fans and signing autographs. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at www.packers.com/gameday/tundra-tailgate-zone.html.

Also on Thursday, Koch will be visiting with fans and signing autographs during that same time in the Legends Club on the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets, as a guest of the ‘Alumni Meet and Greet.’

Mark Murphy, a fixture in the Packers’ defensive secondary for 11 seasons (1980-85, 87-91), was one of Green Bay’s most reliable and consistent tacklers, leading the team in tackles during four campaigns while accumulating 900 total stops. Over his career he posted 20 interceptions, 11 sacks and 13 fumble recoveries. The hard-working and productive safety was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 1998.

Greg Koch, a second-round draft choice in 1977 from Arkansas, played nine seasons (1977-85) in Green Bay, appearing in 133 games. A fixture at right tackle almost immediately upon his arrival, he was a second-team All-Pro selection following the 1982 season and was part of one of the greatest offenses in club history when the Packers amassed 6,172 yards in 1983, the fourth-best output ever in club annals. He was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame in 2010.

Both former Packers players will be introduced on Lambeau Field during pregame festivities.
