New Fan-Inspiring TundraVision Video To Debut At Sunday’s Packers-Bills Game

Video, Which Highlights The Defense, Will Encourage Crowd Noise During Key Defensive Stands

Packers fans at Lambeau Field – known to be among the most savvy and passionate in the NFL – will experience a new TundraVision video Sunday featuring the defense that will energize the crowd and inspire the players during key, late-game defensive stands. Green Bay’s defense in 2009 ranked No. 1 in the league against the run for the first time in team history on the way to a No. 2 overall NFL ranking.

The video will be used during breaks in the action prior to important defensive possessions in the third and fourth quarters.

The new piece, edited by Packers assistant video director Chris Kirby, features a multitude of bone-jarring hits and electric defensive highlights from a variety of players. Music from Bon Jovi’s “Lay Your Hands On Me” complements the exciting images.

Fans can view a brief preview of the video online in the media center of Packers.com at www.packers.com/media-center/videos/exclusives.html.

Also taking place Sunday is the annual Alumni Game, including the introduction of more than 75 Packers alumni during a halftime ceremony. Some of the alumni scheduled to be present include LeRoy Butler, Paul Coffman, Lynn Dickey, Marv Fleming, Jerry Kramer, Chester Marcol and Bart Starr.

The Packers also will be celebrating NFL Hispanic Heritage Month with banners in Lambeau Field and fan giveaways that include gold pompoms with the message, “Tu equipo…Tu pasión” (Your team…Your Passion). Packers linebacker Brady Poppinga, who speaks fluent Spanish and spent his two-year Mormon mission in Uruguay, has recorded crowd cheers in Spanish that will be played on the video board during the game. Additionally, in October Poppinga will visit Green Bay’s Danz Elementary School, which has a large Hispanic population. He’ll be speaking to the students in both English and Spanish.

Bellin Health and the Green Bay Packers will be saluting emergency medical services (EMS) workers during pregame introductions as part of the “Make the Right Call” campaign. Eight stories involving 39 EMS workers were chosen from 40 submissions during the campaign. Those stories are to be highlighted in an exhibit in the Lambeau Field Atrium from Sept. 17 through Oct. 22. Workers will be part of the ambassador line which forms a path through which Packers players run during introductions.

The national anthem will be performed by members the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra. The organization previously performed the anthem in 2008 and 2009. A flyover of four F-16s from the 115th Fighter Wing, Wisconsin Air National Guard, will conclude the anthem.

Among the many fun fan activities in the Tundra Tailgate Zone is an opportunity to have one’s hair painted green and gold. Other activities include interactive games and food and beverage sampling.
