While bringing in the New Year, the Green Bay Packers will take on the Detroit Lions while dedicating the game to showing appreciation to Packers fans.

Throughout the game, fans at Lambeau Field will have the opportunity to win great prizes. Some prizes include a DVD copy of “America’s Game,” featuring the 2010 Packers, $250 Kohl’s gift cards, four Ariens Snow Thros, and a “text to win” trip for two.

For halftime entertainment, another trip will be given away during a contest sponsored by Packers Fan Tours.

Upon entering the stadium fans will receive a complimentary team photo from Kohl’s.

Fans are reminded that the Packers are partnered with Green Bay Metro to offer free bus rides on gamedays. This is a safe and efficient way to get to and from Lambeau Field responsibly. The bus routes and times can be found at http://www.greenbaymetro.org/en-us/packers/default.aspx

Game attendees should remember to give themselves extra time to enter the stadium and be prepared for the wintery temperatures. The enhanced screening process may take longer than usual with the carrying in of blankets and heavier clothing.

The national anthem will be performed by John Vincent, an up-and-coming artist of DITKA Records.  A flyover of two Navy Super Hornets will follow the national anthem.
