Green Bay Packers alumni Mark Murphy and Doug Hart will be in Green Bay this weekend taking part in various fan activities leading up to the Packers-Vikings game.

Murphy (1980-85, 87-91), was a ball-hawking safety on defense leading the Packers in interceptions for three seasons. He played all 11 years of his career in Green Bay and saw action in 147 contests, starting 122 games. He recorded 20 interceptions, 13 fumble recoveries and 11 sacks. In 1985 he returned an interception 50 yards for his only career touchdown.

Hart (1964-71), a defensive back and key leader on the unit, was part of Green Bay’s first two Super Bowl victories. He played eight years in a Packers uniform and saw action in 112 games. He recorded 15 interceptions, including a career-high four in 1965. In 1959 his 85-yard interceptions return for a score was the longest in the league.

On Saturday, Oct. 23, both Murphy and Hart will be visiting with fans and signing autographs in the Packers Pro Shop from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

On Sunday, Oct. 24, prior to the game from 6 to 7 p.m., Murphy will be visiting with fans and signing autographs in the Tundra Tailgate Zone. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at www.packers.com/gameday/tundra-tailgate-zone.html.

Both former Packers players will be introduced on Lambeau Field during pregame festivities.
