The Green Bay Packers Mentor-Protégé Program is seeking applicants for its second year of partnerships to foster business growth, economic development and job creation in Brown County.
The program matches mentor companies that can provide technical, managerial, financial or other guidance to protégés seeking to improve their competitive standing. The mentor-protégé relationship requires at least a 12-month commitment.
Mentors must be established companies with the appropriate resources and the ability to commit to the program and the needs of the protégé.
Five matched companies currently finishing their year in the program are Lathrop & Clark LLP, Madison, Wis. and Heart at Work Unlimited, LLC, Suamico, Wis.; Schreiber Foods, Inc., Green Bay, Wis. and Kirchner Computer Consulting, Inc., Green Bay, Wis.; The Growth Coach, Green Bay, Wis. and About Body, LLC, Green Bay, Wis.; Tweet-Garot Mechanical, Inc., Green Bay, Wis. and Global Refractory Installers and Suppliers, Inc., Green Bay, Wis.; and Wipfli, LLP, Green Bay, Wis. and Almost Nuts! LLC, Denmark, Wis.
The program is administered by AFF Research LLC (AFFR). AFFR has consulted in the field of supplier diversity for 11 years, and has worked on the Lambeau Field redevelopment project and is working on the current stadium expansion project.
AFFR assists their clients in designing and implementing comprehensive supplier diversity program. They also provide guidance to entrepreneurs.
