A fun-filled day and evening awaits Packers fans this Saturday for ‘Packers Family Night, Presented by Bellin Health.’

Tickets are still available and may be purchased in person at the Packers’ ticket office Saturday. Fans are advised to purchase their tickets in person early to avoid potential lines as the event draws near. Tickets also can be purchased over the phone, via the Internet or in person through Ticketmaster. Ticket purchase information and other event details can be found online at www.packerstrainingcamp.com/family_night.

In addition to the scrimmage, families again will enjoy the Packers Experience presented by Kemps, located in the Tundra Tailgate Zone on the stadium’s east side. It will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

New this year is Flippenout’s Extreme Trampoline Show. Two shows, at 2 and 4 p.m. near the Oneida Nation Gate, will feature four athletes on a trampoline performing triple flips and twists 25 feet in the air on snowboards and skis.

The Copps–Pick ‘N Save Family Night Picnic also is set for the east side parking lot and is scheduled from 12:30 to 6 p.m., and will serve corn on the cob, Johnsonville Brats, Nicolet Water and Kemps Popsicles. Proceeds will go the Roundy’s Foundation (Roundy’s is the parent company of Copps and Pick ‘N Save) to support non-profit organizations working in the areas of hunger relief, families in crisis (intervention and prevention of neglect and abuse) and literacy.

Kids’ activities on site during the afternoon and evening include sidewalk chalk art and a rock climbing wall outside the stadium at the Oneida Nation Gate, as well as crafts, airbrush tattoos, sign making, G-Force tattoos and clowns inside stadium concourses. Additionally, the Packers are welcoming several hundred guests from Bay Lake Council Boy Scouts.

For the general public, at 10:30 a.m. all Lambeau Field attractions will open, including the parking lot ($5, with net proceeds to be donated to the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Program), Lambeau Field Atrium, Packers Hall of Fame, Packers Pro Shop, Curly’s Pub, Frozen in Time and Atrium eateries. The Atrium and its businesses will close at 3:30 p.m. to prepare for ‘Family Night.’ Stadium Tours will not be offered due to preparations for the event.

‘Family Night’ gets underway at 4:30 p.m. with the re-opening the Atrium, its restaurants and businesses. In-stadium entertainment begins at 5:30 p.m. with the stadium gates opening and the showing of the team’s highlights film. At 5:55 p.m., on-field entertainment begins with youth football teams, to be followed by a trampoline performance by Flippenout, a dance performance by Green Bay Elite Cheerleaders and the Packers Tundra Line

The Packers will take the field at 6:30 p.m. and run through various practice drills before returning to the locker room at 7:15 for a brief pre-scrimmage break. At 7:15 p.m., when the team returns to the locker room, the Oneida Nation Dancers will perform.

The scrimmage will “kick off” at approximately 7:40 p.m. After the scrimmage, the popular Chili’s “Jerseys Off Our Backs” promotion will be featured, with approximately 20 jerseys – all of which will have been worn by Packers players in the scrimmage – to be given away in a random drawing. The Copps–Pick ‘N Save Fireworks concludes the event with a spectacular fireworks display.

In case of inclement weather, no refunds will be issued unless all stadium activities – from 5:30 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show – are cancelled.

For fans not attending the event, WLUK-TV FOX 11 again will originate a statewide telecast. In addition to Green Bay, the event will be televised on WITI-TV in Milwaukee, WMSN-TV in Madison, WFXS-TV in Wausau and WLAX-TV in La Crosse. Hosted by Drew Smith and other members of the Fox 11 sports and news staffs, the live broadcast will start at 6:30 p.m.
