Burnett, a third-round draft pick in 2010, played three seasons at Georgia Tech. He appeared in 40 career games, including 28 starts, and intercepted 14 passes, tied for second most in school history. A team captain as a junior in 2009, Burnett led the team in interceptions in each of his three seasons at the school and finished with 235 career tackles.

Burnett becomes the fifth of seven Packers draft picks to sign with the team.
