RODGERS-TO-RODGERS FOR THE SCORE

With the Packers leading 6-0 late in the first quarter, QB Aaron Rodgers pump-faked to his right and looked back to his left. TE Richard Rodgers had a step on CB Patrick Chung, and the QB’s throw was right on target for a 32-yard touchdown, the rookie tight end’s second TD in as many games.

NELSON BEATS REVIS ON THE SLANT

Trying to add to a 16-14 lead just before halftime, the Packers had just crossed midfield. WR Jordy Nelson ran a slant against Patriots CB Darrelle Revis, fended him off with his right arm and got enough separation to make the catch. Nelson then took off across the field, getting a good block from fellow WR Randall Cobb along the way and diving at the pylon. The 45-yard score was Nelson’s sixth TD catch this season of 40 yards or longer.

MIKE & MIKE SANDWICH BRADY FOR SACK

The Patriots were just 20 yards away from the go-ahead touchdown, facing third-and-9 with just over three minutes left in a 26-21 game. Packers LB Mike Neal beat Patriots LT Nate Solder around the edge and got an arm on QB Tom Brady while DT Mike Daniels bulled through the middle. The two Mikes combined on the Packers’ only sack of the game at a key juncture, as the Patriots missed a field goal on the next play.
