GREEN BAY – The Packers scored first and took a 7-3 lead over the Raiders after one quarter of Thursday night’s preseason game at Lambeau Field.

The Packers got into scoring territory quickly on the game’s opening drive. QB Brett Hundley hit FB Aaron Ripkowski for a 13-yard gain on the first play, and RB Eddie Lacy followed two snaps later with a 20-yard run.

After Lacy gained 19 more on four carries, Hundley hit WR Davante Adams for a 6-yard gain to convert on third-and-5 and get the Packers into the red zone. A 10-yard slant pass to TE Jared Cook made it first-and-goal, and Lacy needed three more carries to finish off the final 6 yards for the TD. Lacy had nine carries for 45 yards on the drive, which consumed 14 plays and 7 minutes, 36 seconds.

The Raiders answered with a field goal. A personal foul on Packers DE Datone Jones gave the Raiders their initial first down, and then a 20-yard pass from QB Derek Carr to WR Amari Cooper converted on third-and-11. K Sebastian Janikowski was good from 46 yards out to make it 7-3 with 2:43 left in the quarter.

The Packers went three-and-out on their second drive.
