Legendary Packers G Jerry Kramer and LB Dave Robinson will announce the team’s fourth- and fifth-round selections from Vince Lombardi’s office in the Packers Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Robinson, who played 10 of his 12 NFL seasons with the Packers, previously announced the team’s second- and third-round draft picks following his selection to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013 as a senior committee nominee.
NFL clubs will host Day 3 draft festivities at a special location of their choosing with Packers fans celebrating Kramer and Robinson’s announcements at the Lambeau Field Atrium restaurant, 1919 Kitchen & Tap.
It continues a tradition of former Packers introducing the team’s draft choices. WR Donald Driver unveiled the selection of CB Quinten Rollins in the second round last year. Others who have been tabbed for the honor include RB Jim Taylor, S LeRoy Butler and WR James Lofton, who announced WR Davante Adams as the Packers’ second-round pick in 2014.
Those chosen to make selections are individuals who have made a significant impact on their team, featuring current and former players, NFL Legends, military personnel, youth organizations, among other special guests.
The NFL draft will be held at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in downtown Chicago. The third round of the draft begins at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday.
