Packers fans 21 years and older are invited to bring the spirit of Green Bay to the San Francisco Bay Area a day early with a free Packers Everywhere Pep Rally on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 5 to 6 p.m. The festivities will take place at San Pedro Square Market, located at 87 N. San Pedro St., San Jose, Calif.

Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy will take part in the pre-gameday excitement by greeting fans and participating in a Q-and-A session with Wayne Larrivee, the radio voice of the Packers. Packers alumni Antonio Freeman and Derrick Mayes also will be at the rally to socialize with fans, sign autographs and discuss their thoughts on the next day’s game against the 49ers. A round-table discussion with Packers.com writers Vic Ketchman and Mike Spofford will conclude the event.

“The Packers are excited to travel to the San Francisco Bay Area to host our first pep rally this season prior to the Packers-49ers game,” said Joan Malcheski, Packers director of brand & marketing. “The organization is looking forward to meeting Packers fans in California and offering them the unique opportunity to visit with Packers alumni and Mark Murphy as they gear up for the next day’s game.”

A live band will perform after the pep rally, from 7 to 10 p.m., at San Pedro Square Market. The Market & San Pedro Parking Garage, located across from the venue on San Pedro Street, offers convenient parking and many restaurants within San Pedro Square Market offer 2-hour free validation.

Packers Everywhere, through its website packerseverywhere.com, enables Packers fans to find official Packers establishments around the world where they can watch games with fellow fans.
