As winter continues, Titletown is hosting several new events geared at giving community members and families an opportunity to get out and enjoy some winter fun.

Beginning Feb. 1, film buffs of all ages can take a break from the chill with Movies at Rockwood, free indoor movie screenings each Thursday evening. A variety of movies, from new releases to classic favorites, will run through February and March. Viewers can watch movies from several different genres including family, drama, musical and comedy. A full list of what’s playing when can be found at https://www.titletown.com/events/calendar.

For those looking to enjoy the competitive spirit, Titletown will host the Titletown Winter Games, with winter-themed activities and competitions. Opening ceremonies on Friday, Feb. 9, will kick off the 2-week event and activities will take place most days during that span. Competitions will include tubing and ice bike races, ice rink games, snow relay races and snowshoe 40-yard dashes, with all activities weather-dependent. The Titletown Winter Games are open to competitors of all ages and ability levels. For more information and to register, please visit https://www.titletown.com/events/calendar.

Ice sculpting will also continue this Friday, Feb. 2, on Friday, Feb. 16, as listed on the calendar at https://www.titletown.com/events/calendar.

As previously announced, ice bikes also have made their debut at Titletown, which combines riding a bike with ice skating and offers a unique option to enjoy the ice without the skates. Rentals are offered each day, and availability depends on rink capacity, which fluctuates throughout the day. Weekends are typically busier, and those wishing to use the ice bikes are advised to arrive early in the day.

Unlimited tubing is also now available at Ariens Hill, with unlimited tickets available for $10 per person. On weekdays, unlimited tickets are valid all day and on weekends, unlimited tickets will be valid for a three hour period. Tubing and skating combo pricing is also available. For hours and pricing information, please visit https://www.titletown.com/events/recreation/tubing.

Additional events and activities may get added throughout the next several months, and community members are encouraged to visit Titletown.com to learn what’s coming up.
