HYDE PICKS ONE OFF
With the score tied at 7 midway through the second quarter, Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater lofted a throw down the left sideline intended for former Packers WR Greg Jennings. Second-year DB Micah Hyde hauled in the interception with a leaping grab, leading to the go-ahead TD.
RODGERS TO RODGERS FOR THE SCORE
After a 34-yard connection to TE Andrew Quarless, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers turned to another tight end from the 1-yard line. Rolling to his right, Rodgers turned and fired the ball roughly 40 yards in the air to a wide-open TE Richard Rodgers standing by himself in the back left corner of the end zone. The TD was the first of the rookie tight end’s career.
LACY SCORED ON SHOVEL PASS
With the Packers looking to extend a four-point lead in the fourth quarter, RB Eddie Lacy had just run the ball on consecutive plays for 15 and five yards to get the ball to the Minnesota 10. On the next snap, Rodgers flipped a quick shovel pass to Lacy, who got some great blocking at the line of scrimmage and then powered his way into the end zone for what turned out to be the game-winning score. Lacy racked up 65 of his 138 yards from scrimmage in the fourth quarter.
