RODGERS HITS COBB FOR 53-YARD TD

With the Packers trailing 27-7 on the opening drive of the second half, QB Aaron Rodgers fired to WR Randall Cobb down the left sideline and he raced past two tacklers for a 53-yard touchdown, his longest reception of the season.

SCRAMBLING THROW TO JONES CONVERTS ON FOURTH DOWN

Needing to keep a fourth-quarter drive alive in the comeback effort, Rodgers spun away from the pass rush, scrambled to his left and found WR James Jones for a 36-yard gain to convert on fourth-and-14. Two plays later, the Packers were in the end zone again and within one score.

RANDALL SNAGS INTERCEPTION ALONG SIDELINE

On the first play from scrimmage after the Packers pulled within 37-29, rookie CB Damarious Randall stepped in front of WR Ted Ginn along the sideline and intercepted QB Cam Newton’s pass at the Carolina 22-yard line. The turnover gave the Packers a chance to complete their comeback, but they couldn’t punch it in on the ensuing drive.
